All of the 31 Enviro's, along with the 30 (?) transferred buses should replace all of the Excel's, Dart's and B10BLE's. DAF Spectra's 13995/6 are supposedly going to be moving to Wigan too until the summer.

Ah that would seem to make a lot of sense, leaving the newer ex-first stock and transfered stuff to run 32/33, 540, 658

From what I have been led to believe, the Enviro400s will be allocated to the 32, X34 and one other route.

The darts on loan to Bluebird from Stagecoach are not related to the proposed takeover. The yellow spryte is on loan from JPT. Neither are connected to any deal, just buses Bluebird are loaning due to a shortage.
The deal has not yet passed the regulators, and we will not know until the New Year whether or not it will.

Would that be the Enviro400's from Stockport?

Ahh I see so would this in theory mean the B9's and B7's shifting away from Wigan on to another depot? Also I think stagecoach would want to use newer stock on the 540/658 as these are two profitable routes, more so than some of the Wigan circulars

Wondering whether the other route will be the 33, given it is another route into Manchester by Wigan depot.

I would guess that if Enviros are heading to Wigan for the Manchester routes, then if they are to keep the B9s then they'll be used on routes such as the 540 and 600. Unless First will look to try and get them back.

Unless Ive missed something I read that the Spryte has been loaned directly to Bluebird from Ensign until the end of the year.
I find it odd that JPT would loan their rival buses.

That's what I have heard - there are three buses on loan, two Sprytes and a Caetano bodied Dart that was originally sold to Ensign by Bluebird!

Went on 13995 the other day-it sounded surprisingly good.

What route was it on? Haven't seen it in service for months.

One Friday 13995 did the afternoon 374 Hazel Grove High School-Stockport service then went onto do 16:57 23A Stockport-Trafford Centre and 18:34 23 Trafford Center-Stockport service and apparantly 13996 was out during the day on 317 Ashton/Dane Bank-Stockport service
