1621 has had an engine change carried out at Smiles, upgrading it to a Euro2 Cummins probably out of one of the scrap MPDs

4704 is not officially written off.
Neither is 4714.

The latest allocation sheet shows them both as 'Under Repair'.

RE: Arriva North East
4714 is parked up inside Jesmond at the very rear of the depot. Only the front third is visible from the depot entrance (with binoculars) so it's difficult to tell what state it is in, but it's probably waiting attention inside the works area.

1708 and 4708 are dumped against the inside wall, looking very sorry for themselves.

A further Darlington Pulsar repainted is 1426. MPD 1799 has transferred from Jesmond depot to Darlington, with 1766 seemingly also now transferred after 2831 transferred northwards yesterday.

I can confirm that it is indeed R201 CKO and it still retains its fleet number of 3616.

I remember you preparing me for this just before my visit in July. It could lead to an increase in routes working with different types from usual.

No change in vehicle working, given that even-though officially Durham and Belmont had their own allocated fleet, both depots operated as one with vehicles switching between the two. Mainly due to the lack of engineering facilities at Belmont until recently.
