RE: Stagecoach Manchester
So Stockport's basically closed?
What's a 'weekday holiday timetable'?

It tells you what it is on the page! lol Laugh 2

It's a summer holiday style timetable, with peak journey times revised and speeded up to take into account the lower traffic levels.

RE: Stagecoach Manchester
So unless you work in Manchester City centre or the Trafford centre or the airport your stuffed if you work on boxing day or new years day, but at least many services seem to finish an hour later on Xmas eve/ new years eve this year, I'm sure most finished between 6 and 7 last year.

Noticed tonight that the destinations for the 236/237 still carry the via points for when they ran to Manchester at peak, all the buses I spotted tonight apparently still went via Ashton new road, Droylsden and Audenshaw and even more worringly are still limited stops lol.

Perhaps Nicholas could have a word in the right persons ear Smile

So you're stuffed if you want to go to either of the Stockport v Hyde derby matches and you haven't got access to a car? No wonder they're both struggling for supporters if people cannot get there on the Bank Holidays[traditionally when there would be bigger attendances].

I wonder if this information will be updated once Wigan services are in Stagecoach hands. If not looks like Bryn won't be doing anything.

RE: Stagecoach Manchester
First have never ran bus services on Christmas, Boxing or New Years day for as long as I lived there (1988 - 2006) So doubt they would start now.

It doesn't on New Years Day. But unless the 330 reroutes through Cheadle Hulme it won't do me or many others any good.

It's a better service than many other areas get! Don't forget, trains/trams run on New Year's Day. Would be nice if the 42 on NYD ran through to Stockport though.
