D&G Bus
RE: D&G Bus
Some D&G vehicles don't seem to be tracking at the moment. I'm presuming vehicle 120 is on the 312 as I saw it moving towards Wilmslow out-of-service at around 08:30.

RE: D&G Bus
According to social media posts two Solo SRs have joined from Ross Travel, and D&G may be taking on the Hollinshead Enviros at the weekend. I wonder if the regular Hollinshead drivers will transfer as well? If they've not moved one of the drivers is the brother of a D&G driver.

RE: D&G Bus
A MMC registered YX25 OJJ has been posted in D&G livery in a Facebook group, with fleet number 5011. Apparently it's at Crewe alongside a 64 and a 15 reg Solo SR from Ross Travel, which are also in new D&G livery (unlike the last Ross Travel examples that remained in the old livery and passed to High Peak).

RE: D&G Bus
Both new Enviros on the 41 today.

Looks like there's some movements between depots going on. There's been vehicle switches on a few of the Macclesfield depot routes this afternoon and 3011 (YJ64 DWM) has just started tracking on the 3 route in the past half hour. Both 106 and 165 appear to have been taken out of service.

577 is reportedly at Adderley Green, but not in use.

RE: D&G Bus
Will D&G continue to run the 48 from Monday or is it being passed to another operator?

It's a shame that the 48A is withdrawn, however.

As I posted above, D&G will be running a revised 47/48 from Monday.

RE: D&G Bus
The 87, 90, 91, 92 and the 42 journeys operated by the Macclesfield depot aren't tracking on bus times but most are tracking on the D&G app. The vehicles running the Congleton locals are the two Solos that recently arrived from Ross Travel. The 87 vehicles are the same as the 88 ones, with 101 being used on the 188 and 89 journeys.

48 Northwich to Weaverham (3.5 miles) - £3 - presumably means nothing back from the government for each £3 ticket sale and likely a rate set with agreement from Cheshire West.
82 Northwich to Oakmere (7.9 miles) - £3
49 Northwich to Greenbank (1.3 miles, on the way to both Weaverham and Oakmere) - £3.20

I would also presume they'll take loads of Greenbank fares, while Oakmere will be few and far between, and most Greenbank and Weaverham passengers will use the more frequent 49 over the 48.

With D&G getting the Beartown contract there's now another anomaly with the Congleton to Moseley fare being £2.60 on the 94 and £1.50 on the 91.

Congleton is one of the few Cheshire East towns that still have contracted town circular routes. In other towns it's normal for local journeys to have to be made on a longer distance bus. I do think Cheshire East should iron out the inconsistencies in fares:

Single fare within Alderley Edge (130 route): £2.60 (no special rate day or weekly tickets)
Single fare within Wilmslow (88/130 route): £2.80 (£5 Bee Network day ticket valid north of Bank Square only)
Single fare within Handforth (130 route): £2.80 (£5 Bee Network day ticket valid in area)
Single fare within Macclesfield (19/87/130 routes): £3 (£12 multi-operator weekly ticket available)
Single fare within Knutsford (87/88/89 routes): £3 (£4.40 Knutsford zone day ticket available)
