Tickets for the final Class 507 farewell tour (titled the 'The Sefton Sparkler') went on sale Saturday evening at 10pm, selling out in under 7 hours. 507001 has suffered a graffiti attack whilst stabled at New Brighton. Time will tell whether or not it will be removed before the final 507 farewell or if a different unit will be used on November 3rd. |

There must have been a 777 shortage this week as 507003 has been in service on the Wirral every day so far. |

I managed to catch a few rides on it working on the West Kirby line yesterday evening.
