Greater Manchester Service Changes
RE: Greater Manchester Service Changes
It is odd that it is route 371 rerouted via Heaton Mersey. Historically it was route 370 that covered that routing.

Be interesting to see if it's mentioned in the GMCA Bus Committee meeting next month, as the 184 was listed as being part of the contract for the next round of bus franchising in March 2024.

Can expect some re-timing on early morning and late afternoon/early evening journeys, as journeys will start/end in Huddersfield rather than Oldham. Possibly will mean an earlier final departure back into GM from Huddersifeld (currently 1935 weekdays, 1835 Saturdays, 1833 Sundays) but a possible later departure from Oldham to Huddersfield (currently 1803 weekdays, 1703 Saturdays, 1705 Sundays).

Also remains to be seen if First WY take over the late evening journeys currently operated by Nexus Move or if they will stay unchanged.

The Service was a Yorkshire rider route it was funny it moved as used to run from Manchester to Bradford at one point. But they may not get a bus permit for the route unless WYPTE has chatted to TFGM about it as they should not be allowed to pickup or drop off local passengers. as 184 runs along the route.

RE: Greater Manchester Service Changes
Does anyone know whether 184 will still be taking the same route out of Oldham via Greenacres and Lees after the timetable change next month or is something planned to replace it?
