The 777 move this afternoon is now on RTT - 6Q77 14.22 Crewe CS to Kirkdale (update from my earlier post)
Update: 777012/016 were brought up from Crewe, hauled by 20142/20189 and two HST power cars

They’re booked to be moved Sunday evening.
Both are at Birkenhead North getting stripped today.
Ironically the 507 was a good unit, only due to be withdrawn next year and I believe 508112 was in line for disposal along with 508122 until 507019’s untimely end.

Over the last few days there has been a bit of unreliability with the 777 operations on the Kirkby line which has at times required 507/8 to deputise.

Is this what they call the bath tub curve as they call it and the only was is up .

It hit a metal plate left on the tracks at Cressington last month and it did a lot of damage to the under frame equipment, so much so that it was deemed beyond economic repair
