Not sure what this is all about - I haven't seen anything about changes to Liverpool-Hull services other than the usual nightly list of the next days' cancellations on all routes?

This is about the missing services that are cancelled on the day if your referring to that, as far as I’m aware only the odd evening Newcastle stops at both NLW & LEG but am I right that some Newcastles are missing as well?

A list of ongoing cancellations was issued, mostly on the Saltburn route and I am pretty certain on other routes *except* Hull but I can't find them now - they had VAR schedules in RTT to make them unadvertised. This does not appear to have been carried forward when "normal" services resume after the January strikes.

but not in the Network Rail version is the 10.24 Liverpool-Newcastle terminating at York and going ECS to Scarbourough to stable, prior to working the 14.05 from Newcastle starting at York.

It’s for route retention purposes for drivers who sign 802’s and 185’s but don’t sign 68’s.

The North Trans Pennine service is getting better , but the South Transpennine service is slowly becoming farcial .

There was an excellent programme on Channel 4 last night examining the awful state of the UK rail network in the north of England, particularly the services run by TransPennine.

Apparently, Huddersfield station has the highest rate of cancellations in the UK.

Huddersfield is probably the station where the highest proportion of departures are operated by TPE.
