31917/8/20/21/22 But 31919 is still in service, seems odd to leave 31919 in

Has 31924 not been withdrawn yet either? :P

Last time I heard anything of 31924 it was on loan to First Pioneer, not even sure if its back at BN. Makes no sense at all 31919 which is a shed anyways, and 31924 isn't the best,

RE: First Manchester
From where I see it, allocations are going to look like this at Oldham in the future:

(about) 7 Crusaders: 415
Pointer 2s: 24, Rochdale work
Solos: (evening) 415, Rochdale work, tenders excluding the 149
Citaros: 149, 425
B7RLEs: 81, 180, 184
B9TLs: 58, 59, 82, 83, 350 Oldham runs (unless arrangements are made for Pioneer to run these)
Olympians: School work
as far as I can see I've only missed out the 408. If anyone can give me a list of the numbers of each bus that are expected to remain at Oldham, that would help a lot indeed Smile

Thanks,
Liam Moskwin.

Hello Liam,

Have you heard or seen anything more on the 16 citaros still to arrive at Oldham?

Latest news on overall allocations says nothing at OM will be finalised until after the para olympics.

But someone may know different, to whats already been posted

All I know is that a driver has said Citaro's, R###SBA's and more Enviro's are almost definitely destined for Oldham.

I've just figured that the number of Enviro's required for running both the 180/4 and 409 only adds up to 25-30 buses, meaning there'll be between 10-20 others either sat around doing nothing, or allocated to another route, which could either be 58/59 or the 83, so now I'm stuck again, aha! Big Grin

In addition, SF07 has just listed down changes to services 81/A, 410/1, 350 and 415. All these services pass through the Waterhead and Greenacres areas, coincidence? Does anyone have any ideas what's going on? :P

Thanks,
Liam Moskwin.

went on 350 other day and it went normal route past waterhead

o so Oldham are getting the R-SBAs as long as 40135 stays where it is

Sorry I meant to say it's for service changes at the end of October I think Smile

Thanks,

RE: First Manchester
Should point out it wasn't me who posted the 81/81A, 350, 410/411 and 415 VOSA changes, it was St Helens Rider Smile

However, I wouldn't be surprised if there is a shake-up of First services in Oldham come October. Perhaps something like the 415 curtailed to run between Middleton and Oldham, re-routing the 350 via Greenacres and extending the 81A towards Lees and Holts.

You just got it absolutely spot on, that was almost exactly my thoughts. If I was in charge however:

415 curtailed to between Middleton and Oldham only, with a revision of the frequency to every 10-12 minutes.

81A extended to Dobcross and Carrcote (why for a town part of Oldham Metropolitan Borough have they only got 2 an hour to the major town centre, and a through to Manchester service? It's pathetic if you ask me!)

350 rerouted to serve Greenacres, or curtailed to between Ashton and Carrcote.

343 renumbered and relaunched as 349 or 351, improved to every 30 minutes between Oldham and Mossley (hourly to Hyde), rerouted to serve Greenacres and Lees.

And that's only my Oldham - Waterhead & Greenacres - Dobcross plans. I'd share more but I doubt anyone gives a monkeys really! :P

Thanks,
Liam Moskwin.
