Based purely of Megabus site and what they are showing, it seems that MP Travel is about to get more work (from April 2022) with 1 bus working Derby to London every day, 2 round trips with the bus seemingly staying in Derby (no onward trip showing from Derby) If this isn't a mistake, it's interesting as it will be the first regular duty for MP Travel which will involve hotels far away. All existing Megabus trips return home each day (or at least go back to Manchester and I presume go back to the depot as that just makes sense) |

You need 2 drivers per day anyway for the services as it's 3 hours each way, 4 trips (2 round trips) so that's over driving hours normally. There are too many possibilities for how the service could run operationally and so it wouldn't be wise for me to speculate. |
