Has anyone got a general update & current status at winsford please? It's gone mega quiet since ages & ages back when copey stopped posting on here. Noticed that about 5 or so drivers who worked out of winsford last year during lockdown are still here & haven't transferred back to macc. Some of them much prefer winsford even though it means more travel time as there's a load more variety as opposed to being stuck on macc locals. |

LEDs can be fitted in less than an hour, or a blind can be ordered so no big deal |

Gotta say I feel for any drivers at the mo who get lumped with a mellor strata. First up they rattle like buggery over any bumps, driver mate of mine from macc says he's melted so far this week. Like a greenhouse with them being such small cabs & a postbox sized cab window can't be much ventilation except a small cab fan. Anybody seen 4699 on the road yet? I've not seen it so assume its still being worked on prior to entering service. Do wonder as well if winsford will get any extra deckers cascaded in from anywhere else too, the college loadings can get mega packed plus with all the school kids. It was a sad day when the pair of VLW deckers 4215/4216 went off the road. Yes they were old but still seemed to go well & seemingly had loads of life left in em, but hey hum. |

Can I ask what is the current operational situation with Macclesfield depot and routes? I can see the 38 and 10 are interworking with at least some buses starting in Crewe. Are the 38 and 10 now shared routes? Does this mean less buses being stored in Macclesfield? If any light can be shed on the situation, it would be appreciated. |

2 buses an hour on the 10 One is Macc operated usually with a Solo. The other is interworked with 38 So yes at the moment the 10 is shared between Macc and Winsford. 38 is Winsford operated (27/07/2021 02:03)iMarkeh Wrote: Can I ask what is the current operational situation with Macclesfield depot and routes?
