tell them turn up on time and you got a deal, really in thatto you got 2 options regarding arriva
A. get on a packed 33/33A
b. go for a 10A where you can wait 2 mins for 3 of them or 20 mins for one of them Smile

It's no surprise Halton have increased the 17/17A to combined every 30 minutes from the same date.

As for the 34, this now takes even longer to get to/from Leigh - a far cry from the days of the GM Express route of the same number.

RE: Arriva North West - St Helens Depot
Looking at the new 33 timetable (link in the Merseytravel timetable updates thread) and the map supplied, I don't understand how some journeys are going to omit Toll Bar from the route. Do we assume that those particular journeys are to run limited stop to St Helens?

I really don't understand why the A prefix couldn't have just been kept as I explained yesterday.... Would have just been much simpler and easier for passengers to identify different journeys and, subsequently, the bus they want.

SR 723 has just left on an 89.

722 is also on the 37/38 356 duty.

724 on the 34/A this evening also! 2314 was unusually on the 37/38/356 duty early this morning.

722 replaced a Dart on the 10:20 service 37 departure from St. Helens, a depot driver taking away the Dart (2314 I think).

2214 was on 352 and i have to say somethings up with it, rocking forward and backwards when idle, smells of fuel, horrid rusting type noise from the engine and jumping into gear, i wonder if it made it back to st helens

Has there been a swap then. Only because as far as I know 2490 was on the duty which goes onto the evening service. If seen on the 1725 to Leigh (back in St Helens for 1910) then that is a swap (as well as a bit of a shock).
