I think that was why my 27 was a no show today, all the excess passengers were loaded onto 7671. Does anyone know what caused that accident? Justice is finally here. No, but it would be easier to repair 1 bus with another NFS, then have 3 off the road, or sit around waiting for fibreglass body panneling. 2407 has the same fate as 2412, Just sat there awaiting fate to take its toll |

Good point Reece, yeah I'd personally say 2407 has had it myself but you never know! What ever was up with that wreck of a bus 7664 must have been fixed as it's back out on the 8 today...I pity the poor driver and passengers. Justice is finally here. Rest In Peace the 96, You'll Never Walk Alone.

RE: Arriva North West - Green Lane Depot
I had Endurance Y457 KNF (2720) on the 6, from Liverpool to Warrington, today and I have to say that these buses DO NOT suit the Warrington journeys of this service! The seats that they feature are very uncomfortable, as a few other passengers also said on-board this "old bus". Also, the ride was made worse because the whole back row of seats seemed to jolt forward and rattle constantly - it appeared that what they were sitting on was loose. In my opinion, Commanders, Pulsars and Pulsar 2s are the only "suitable" buses for the Warrington journeys of this service - they might rattle a lot, but their seats are more comfortable than those on 2720 (and, of course, the other five Endurances). Endurances? Living in the past mate, Renowns The 6 is a funny route, it only requires the capacity of a Dart, but the reliability of a Renown and the comfort of a Pulsar. I personally think VDL SB120/Wright Cadets would fill the allocation quite nicely! |

I agree there Danny, perhaps if Runcorn release a few Cadets when the EcoCity's come they could at least take the Darts off the route until the Renown's need replacing. I personally think the Renown's seats would be a lot better if they went through P&P and got some padding put into them. Justice is finally here. Rest In Peace the 96, You'll Never Walk Alone.

I don't think that the renowns are unsuitable for the 6/7A for Warrington journeys as a vehicle but all of these Green Lane examples need a serious refurbishment as they are a mess. They would be fine for that journey if this was done as don't forget the Southport examples do a similar long journey on the 300 and they are fine after the p&p. The state of the GL examples will make them feel older than they are to the public. |

It seems you are blessed with the sixth sense, common sense, one that Arriva management up at the top severely lack, proven by their decision to send away Pulsars rather than Cadets, the latter probably even more sought after due to the fact they are ideal replacements for Darts and other mid-sized buses. |

7612 and 2577 were both on the 10B |
