Spotted the so called "587" today. Running as 1006 YJ62 FBL and displaying X58 and following the X58 route, so what is it meant to be, X58 or 587? Someone's got confused somewhere with TfGM saying its Tigers journeys are X58 and YT displaying X58 on the dests, then Metro saying that Tigers journeys are numbered 587.

RE: Greater Manchester service changes
Some interesting changes in the list especially with Diamond making their mark on services round North Manchester.

The only other change that's interesting is Hulley's of Baslow running a Sheffield-Manchester service, the last time Hulley's ran a service to/from Manchester was when they had the Chesterfield-Manchester X67 service which doesn't run anymore.

The X57 will be an interesting service as it looks like its going to run direct to Sheffield via A57 which is something a service bus hasn't done for a while and the Snake Pass (Road) is a scenic route whatever the weather.

RE: Greater Manchester service changes
North western which began running the 236 (Ashton-Glossop) using a pair of former Halton Transport Darts has already run into difficulties and have stopped operating. It doesn’t look good for their other planned routes 397 and 305.

Not surprising that arriva are dropping the 484 eccles - prestwich.

It's a long route that & it doesn't seem to attract many punters.

RE: Greater Manchester service changes
Won't the Traffic Commisioner have something to say about Northwestern(GB Coaches) suddenly stopping operating their 236 route? I know its been registered commercialy but the route is meant to run surely unless they've let the Traffic Commisioner know.
