TfW service loaded for w/c 6th July, based on weekday rather than Sunday ; North Wales services generally run Holyhead-Shrewsbury with a shuttle on the Llandudno branch and Crewe-Chester. This results in a reduced service between Shrewsbury and Birmingham International. Liverpool-Chester stays two hourly. |

A bit strange they're enhancing services in Wales but not Chester-Liverpool given Wales will remain more locked down than England. |

They probably reckon that Liverpool - Chester is still best suited to travel on Merseyrail . The two hourly service means they just need one crew doing Chester - Liverpool Lime street Dont forget this still isnt a full weekday timetable just yet |

Surely the markets for the TfW Chester-Liverpool services are: - Liverpool Airport/South Parkway to Cheshire & beyond - Frodsham/Helsby to Liverpool - Chester/Frodsham/Helsby to Runcorn - Frodsham/Helsby to Chester (shared with the Manchester-Chester services) - Maybe even Cheshire to the West Midlands with a change to the Liverpool-Birmingham service at Runcorn The only real reason for doing Chester-Liverpool on TfW over Merseyrail is if you have mobility issues and are changing to a non-Merseyrail service at Lime Street e.g. Chester to Huyton. |

TfW website says their trains will not call at Earlestown from Monday due to short platforms - do they normally use single door opening due to the curvature? A couple of weeks NRE included it on the list, but it has subsequently been deleted. ; Most Bidston service are terminating at Wrexham General. |

In the normal timetable the Bidston - Wrexham Central is given 62 minutes to travel the line in the other 58 minutes , so you can see any delay results in a cancellation or part cancellation of the service usually at Shotton. Which can result in passengers from Neston , Heswall , Upton and Bidston not being happy bunnies. |
