The main route though was the 264 which ran through to Victoria (baring in mind this is pre-Metrolink days when there was no real direct link to Victoria from Altrincham).

No problems Metroline anytime, the next series of routes is purely chilling 95% of the routes have been severely cut or changed and with about 50% of the original service area not replaced you might have guessed it, the Next Series of Numbers is 300 - 399.

Once again if you see something wrong with these comprassions list please let me know so I can fix the errors.

Today we explore the 300 - 399 series which took passengers all around Tameside and Stockport, it even taken them on scenic rambles out towards Derbyshire and beyond. They connected the mazes off estates and linked the commuter routes together. they took people to hospitals for visiting and appointments.

Today the network is looking more like a preschool has designed it and you will be very lucky to have scenic ramble of some of the former scenic rambles routes and the local estates around Stockport and Tameside now have rabbit warren of Fresh air routes and no decent terminal points.

Which routes would you like to see back and do you agree that Deregulation has had bad impact on Stockport and Tameside Alone after comparing both networks

The 362 is the present 352. Interesting history with these routes over the years. They were extended to Chorley, then Preston, then reduced back to Chorley before Arriva split and simplifies them to the present day arrangement.

Today will be exploring the 400 - 499 series of routes that GM Buses Introduced on 26th October 1986 and will be comparing the network against the network that is currently operating as of April 2020.

We discover that this series of routes have pretty much been torn apart since it was first it introduced on 26th October 1986, we found the core problems as to why bus travel is falling in North Manchester due to excessive cuts and changes to the services that once resident could get direct service might now have to get several services to their final destination and we discover that we have had at least 6 routes completely abandoned and a few routes merged together.

As with all theses routes series comprassions I have posted which routes do you miss and do you fully believe that when regulation of bus services happen again do you think TFGM should be restoring the 1986 routes to simplify the network or does the network need a complete rewrite when TFGM regalate the buses again.

I’m nearing the end of this comprassions as I only got 500-599 | 600-699 | Misc Routes | Letters Routes to do then after that all been done I love to go further back in time to compare the Selnec Network to today's network and The last day of GMPTE Network before it become GM Buses but I haven’t got the materials to do that so I was wondering if anyone has any guides, knowledge or websites where I can get SELNEC routes and GMPTE Routes which operated on the last day before deregulation so I can compare them to the modern day network. It would be very appreciated.

The 402 is part replaced by the 582, 34, 360/22 although none of these routes are Express these days. A link of this nature could work now if the will was there as it appears to be a very useful link.

Yes I totally agree with you that it would be good to reintroduce this service and it could be operated by Warrington Buses to provide some buses for the 715 tender they gained
