So will look dreadfull after a few days bad weather, and a side scrape will require four lots of vinyl or paint.

I notice the small Proud to serve Manchester logo above the passenger door. This will relocalise Stagecoach buses after the Stagecoach in Manchester etc straplines were shelved.

What with the atrocious Stormy weather that Stagecoach and other operators had to put up with today unfortunatly Stagecoach Manchester suffered another fire on one of their vehicles today when one of their Enviro400s parked in the compound at Daw Bank caught fire, not sure how many vehicles are actually damaged but heard of at least 3 vehicles but could be more that have been affected.

How this will affected vehicles and service turn out for tomorrow remains to be seen but can see vehicles having to be drafted in from somewhere so maybe expect some odd workings over the next couple of days while replacement vehicles are sourced.

I believe the bus in question was 19391 and a bus either side of where it was parked but I've not heard what their numbers are

Another Stagecoach Manchester bus that might be off the road for a while now is Stagecoach Middleton Depots 10856 after it challenged Joshua Lane Railway Bridge, damage doesnt really look that bad and is limited to the front windscreen and front offisde corner panel upstairs.

I don’t get how this happens still, the drivers have worked for years out of Middleton now and it’s well known that there is a tonne of low bridges in the area, surely they should know by now which ones to avoid, too low for buses etc. They’re trained, professional drivers not a 17 year old in a Corsa.

Sharston's BYD's will be running a driver training program from the mornings to the evenings around sharston and the Airport, familiarising drivers with the controls. These will enter service with Sharston from March 1st.
