Corrected 141 timetable now online confirming that the daytime service is indeed 2 hourly. Bit of a scandal is that the last daytime journey leaves Newton at 1500 (Earlestown 1521) leaving a three and a half hour gap between the daytime and evening service. |

Last round of timetable changes have been announced (commencing 21st July) Liverpool area: 1/2 Liverpool - Chester Route 1: the 1950 (Mon - Fri) journey from Chester is retimed slightly late between Cheshire Oaks and Birkenhead. Route 2: Some Monday to Friday afternoon journeys are retimed. 61 Bootle - Aigburth The Monday to Friday daytime frequency is reduced from every 12 to every 15 minutes. 62 Allerton (Penny Lane) - Bootle (North Park) Most Monday to Friday journeys from Penny Lane are retimed. All other journeys remain unaltered. 79/79D/79C Liverpool - Netherley/Halewood/Widnes Routes 79 and 79D Monday to Friday frequency is reduced from every 5/10 minutes to every 7/8 minutes. Saturday and Sunday journeys are unchanged. Route 79C times are changed. X2 Liverpool - Preston Monday to Friday times are changed. Saturday and Sunday services are unchanged. X5 Liverpool - Speke - Widnes Service is rerouted into and out of Liverpool as well as around part of Widnes. Following services change to Summer timetable: 10B Liverpool - Huyton 12/13 Liverpool - Stockbridge Village circulars 15 Liverpool - Huyton 17 Liverpool - Aintree University Hospital or Kirkby 19 Liverpool - Gillmoss, Croxteth, Kirkby or Kirkby Admin 20/20X Liverpool - Towerhill/Kirkby Admin 21 Liverpool - Northwood 26/27 Liverpool - Sheil Road circulars 52/52A Liverpool - Netherton/Old Roan 53 Liverpool - Crosby 60 Bootle - Aigburth Vale 80/80A Liverpool - Speke/John Lennon Airport 81/81A/881 Bootle - Speke/John Lennon Airport/Jaguar Land Rover factory 82/82C/82D Liverpool - Liverpool South Parkway or Speke 86/86A/86C/86D Liverpool - Childwall, Garston, Liverpool South Parkway or John Lennon Airport Wirral Area: 1/2 Liverpool - Chester Route 1: the 1950 (Mon - Fri) journey from Chester is retimed slightly late between Cheshire Oaks and Birkenhead. Saturday and Sunday journeys remain unaltered. 41/41A/41B/42 Mill Park - Woodchurch or Arrowe Park Monday to Friday daytime combined frequency reduced from every 10 minutes to about every 12 minutes. St. Helens Area: 38/38A/38B,152 St Helens - Rainford/Crank/Ormskirk Routes 38 and 38B, all journeys start in St Helens and times are changed. Routes 38A and 152 are unchanged. Southport Area: 2 Southport - Preston Some monday to Friday times are changed. Saturday and Sunday services are unchanged. X2 Liverpool - Preston Monday to Friday times are changed. Saturday and Sunday services are unchanged. |

Bus Timetable Changes From 21st Of July 2019 Service: 22/X22 Old Route: Moreton Or West Kirby - Chester New Route: Moreton Or West Kirby - Chester 22 Service Changes: Late afternoon, Monday To Friday journeys are retimed by a couple of minutes The 08:40 Monday To Friday Service between Arrowe Park Hospital And Moreton Now Starts At Chester Bus Station at 07:29 Saturday Services Unchanged. They run dead from RF to Chester and then do the 22. It's on the RF duty boards. |

It’s good there’s a morning peak bus from Neston into Heswall, as currently the first bus doesn’t get into Neston until gone 9am. Dead run seems odd, perhaps they could start at Heswall about 6.20, or even run an extra 1/2 from Rock Ferry to Chester where it could then go on the 22. |
