Not sure how true this is but been hearing about another possible annoucement by First tomorrow whether its a possible sale I'm not to sure but if it is it involves Bolton not Oldham Depot this time round.

As First have dumped so many routes in Bolton, it might not interest new players to buy First Bolton. It could be a suitable bolt-on acquisition for Rotala or Transdev, if you'll pardon the pun.

As First have a sizable network in Oldham, this could be an easier sale.

The rump of First Manchester following divestment of QR is not 2 disjointed operations from Bolton and Oldham. It is possible to travel on just First Manchester buses from Bolton to Oldham via Manchester Victoria (routes 8 & 59) and back via Rochdale (routes 409 & 471).

We've had these rumours before and nothing has come of them as yet.

If anything was announced now it would not before Monday.

I think its all rumour in any-case caused by other operators adding additional disks that are local to Bolton.
