yes,but you carnt use it on huddersfield local services,same way you can use a west yorkshire saver to get to manchester but not around manchester

This is false, the daysavers can be used all over GM and WY. It was stated on the old Wayfarer tickets, it isn't on the existing tickets however.

Anybody have any ideas when the newly arrived Enviro400s might be entering service as i will be having a 3 day break in Bolton in about 2 weeks so hopefully catch 1 then?

The information on the Enviro's is as Mic says when the schools go back, also this is backed up by at least two drivers. As they are also saying this is when a lot of re allocations/mainstream withdrawals would be most likely to happen. Beginning of next month. Thats not set in stone, its just highly likely. That it will happen like that.

Reported on the M62 is another 5 new Enviro400 heading towards Manchester Two reported fleet numbers were 33703 and 33688

You certainly could use the First Manchester day ticket is WY and into Lancs (589/592) but I'm not sure if that's the case anymore. You may have to be careful if you try using it in WY.

Remember getting on a X6 last year with a First Manchester day ticket bought on a First WY 184 service (pre-new machines) and was told by the driver I couldn't use it on the X6 and would have to get on the 363. Mind you, got on the next X6 with no problems.

FirstWeek and FirstMonth tickets can be used on the 184 to/from Huddersfield but not on First services within West Yorkshire. As for day tickets, might be best to check with First Manchester and/or First Calderdale & Huddersfield.

Went to Wigan today and saw 31941 on a #631, 31934 was on the #598 and 31928 was on the #610/625. We did 31928 on the #610 and it went into the depot...Do all #610's do this? You can get some good shots off the top deck of the scrap line at the back...
