Also there are no extra Leigh trips so there will be a fair bit of dead millage on these. All of the shorts finish at Piccadilly. I can't work out where they start (It looks as though start in Worsley and 1 in Manchester (this is not including the existing Leigh workings at 07:00 from Manchester and the 07:0 and 07:32 from Worsley).

Can anyone confirm if Wigan are running these or they will be ran by Hyde Road given the amount of dead millage to/from Wigan each day. The extra shorts don't look like they interwork with the leigh trips.

Unless I’ve misread it, there also seems to be a long layover on the 415 at Oldham. Arrives at 20 past the hour and departs at 59 past the hour,

Noted a Solo when I passed Middleton depot this morning, and have just seen a report on Facebook that 47472/3 and 47824/5 have been transferred in, presumably for the 415.

The latter two are ex-Bluebird, so have returned home in a manner of speaking.

RE: Stagecoach Manchester and Wigan
I did ask on another forum what's going to be running on 350/425 tender which is operating from Middleton Depot but was told that they weren't to sure just wait and see, I was hoping the odd MMC400 might drop onto the route.

One question I do have is why have Stagecoach rerouted 415 back to its old route (under Middleton Junction bridge)? Considering Middleton Depot is operating 415 route I would have thought it would have been easier to keep the current (Daytime) route as it passes right outside the Depot and would be easier for driver change overs.

It's probably the dead milage , extra time and delays on Broaway and at the Gardeners Arms.

wouldn't it be easier if ashton ran the 350/425 and middleton run the 415.

I asked this to one of Middletons regular late drivers last night on 81 and he said that all tendered work that Stagecoach get in the North side of Manchester goes to Middleton these days.

Reverting to the old route is down to TfGM as 415 is now a tendered route. Most of the rest of other section is covered by other routes so I'll be seen as unnecessary

Same on the 350 in Ashton tonight. The stagecoach driver was flatly refusing to let anyone travel with First passes.
