RE: Go Goodwins
Interesting news I read elsewhere recently is that Goodwins have apparently lost their big Cricket Conrtract to Swans as they've recently won the Team Transport Contract for the Cricket World Cup in 2019 and will be using 2 13.8m Plaxton Elite i High Speck Coaches with loung and kitchen area fitted. |

Not sure what the truth is here as if that was going to happen I don't know why Goodwins have just taken delivery of a brand new high spec Vanhool. The ICC World Cup Contract is probably not related to that of the ECB one. It also will require a heck of a lot more than 2 coaches. --- Thanks Ant Check out my YouTube Channel updated regularly at 18:00 Most Days; https://www.youtube.com/c/apdmediatransp...nel/videos Check out my content on Flickr: https://www.flickr.com/photos/envirohunter https://www.flickr.com/photos/envirohunter/albums Updated recently with a trip down to the South Coast in 2021 & Railway Pictures from 2017. |

Maybe they are willing to run some such work from their main base, but merely lost interest in having the satellite operation based at Eccles, which they sold to Rotala in 2017. |

RE: Go Goodwins
I find them a really strange outfit. They rebranded the bus ops to Little Gem, then sold to Rotala stating that running bus services had a negative effect on the coach side of things when there were negative comments regarding timekeeping of the services etc, yet here they are doing it all over again. |

It keeps people employed and if you are putting in a daft price, you are making a fair bit of profit on it. |
