. P and O Lloyd, Bagillt Currently on loan from Flintshire County Council are two Optare Solos YJ09EZH and YK05CBX. Whilst Council owned since new they were operated by GHA until their demise in July 2016 and have sat in storage in Flint until taken to auction in Manchester last month. They were not sold and are about to be used by P and O mainly on the Deeside Shuttle partly to replace Solo YJ06FYW which was involved in a serious fire and has now gone for scrap. Jones Motor Service, Flint Disposal of the fleet is now underway. T159AUA [RDM378] (DAF SB3000 / VH T9 Alizee), CN55AUU (Iveco Daily), PT55GRT [VDM53] (Citroen Relay), and YR02PYV [770HDM] MB Sprinter 413CDI / Excel have all gone to Davies Motors, Ruthin, DU53JYD (Ford Transit) is to go to the local travellers who have purchased the former yard at Flint and R992KMA (MB / Concept) has gone for scrap. Three large coaches remain to be sold - P894TCK (Volvo B10M-62 / Plaxton Premier), W217CDN [294DDM] (DAFSB3000 / VHl T9 Alizee) and YJ05PYY [EDM1J] (VDL SB400 / VH T9 Alizee). M and H Coaches, Trefnant, Denbigh Also on loan here from Express Motors is Solo CX06AAU which still has the former Express yellow livery. Coastline, Rhyl The Solo YJ18CZL entered service on 17/5/18 and is seen here in Corwen - PHOTO Alun Andrew, Mostyn. He is currently selling his two large coaches which have been re-registered to their original numbers prior to sale. I have a website which looks at the bus and coach operators in North East Wales. There are current fleetlists for all operators and most have a full historic fleet list.

Forgot to mention this the other day i was on my driving lesson either this or last Thursday and seen a Silver Solo parked near B&Q any idea's? i cant remember the reg im sure it was either 02 or 52 |

Easy Coach have now registered some new services in Wrexham. They will be competing with Arriva on the 2 and 2c, they are operating the old 42 Wrexham Industrial Estate service and also the old 44 Barker's Lane service. There is definitely a need for the 42 service to be reinstated, as this will mean a 30 minute service to the Estate again combined with the Arriva 41 service. I would imagine the 44 service will be as well used as it was previously when D Jones operated it....I'm surprised Arriva didn't show any interest in operating it along with the 35. |
