There is a report on facebook that 7 Tridents and 2 MAN Enviro300s are to go to SC & NL at Morecambe this month to cover extra the extra PVR needed because of the Greyhound bridge closure

Five Tridents and one MAN Enviro 300 are reported on SKM as transferring to Morecambe Depot.
These are 18354/55/64/66/74 and 24171.

Presumably due to the bridge works mentioned above. Does anyone know how long this work will take? Just wondering whether these re-allocations are loans are should be classed as long-term transfers.

Current planned end of the works is October, though I believe Merseyside aren't expecting them back at all.

I would imagine that Merseyside will be happy to let them go. Especially as the Arriva bus strike is now over and the need for deckers on strike days has ceased.

Are any of these additional deckers now required for St Helens school work?

The company recently tweeted that they had additional routes picked up from Red Kite.
