The decker was dropped off there a few weeks ago from Rhyl, for a school run if i remember correctly

The only Arriva school contracts I know are St Helens. I think they may get subsidy though from some schools to take passengers with passes but nothing major. Unless that is what is is as Stagecoach have a similar thing going on on the X2.
Also, a quick one on the decker, could it not be for the X30 as I was told the X30 is meant to be moving to DD operation when it moves to Chester but there was no vehicles available alongside other issues which prevented the move to Chester.

Yes they do - LBS10 - Connah's Quay High School - Garden City, Queensferry, Shotton, Connah’s Quay LINK to timetable

I have a website which looks at the bus and coach operators in North East Wales. There are current fleetlists for all operators and most have a full historic fleet list.
Included are current depot fleet lists for Arriva Cymru. There are also a number of ceased opertators with historic fleet lists including the GHA Group
The address and a link is www.Ronsbusesandcoaches.com
