The 31 seems to get anything and everything capacity wise from 58 Plate Solo right up to Enviro 400's.

Whenever I see the 31, there is hardly anyone on. Some buses take quite a few but it is rare I see that. Is there any trend of which trips are more popular? It doesnt seem like the 31 warrants a 10 minute service from what I see.

It has been reported a number of times that the double deckers operate the 31 as its close to the depot. If it's suddenly required in Liverpool, then the driver would make the return trip to St Helens and then run out of service to where it's needed.

I don't think anybody has said about its PVR until now. Single deckers can sometimes run with one or two onboard but very often it's half full of seated passengers.

Believe it or not the 31 is a good payer for the distance it travels as it may seem quiet but it as high paying passenger numbers.

4435 was allocated to it but then got swapped for 4620

2546 arrived yesterday morning and is in service on 31 today.
Also 4601 on the 320.

4601 is on 320 shorts, just left St. Helens
