Probably something they would only say in private, just like Northern have avoided saying anything about a guarantee about a second member of staff on board in public. Remember the RMT want their public image to be that are in favour in lower fares but at the same time want to increase staffing costs (they'll want the guards to get a good pay rise every year which will increase the total bill.) |

The Class 777s aren't in build yet and I imagine it will still be a good few months away. A bit late now, but 507001-507008 have now all been fitted with passenger counting equipment above the passenger doors. 507004 had received this modification first some 18 months or so back, with the remainder being fitted two or three months ago. |

Dont forget No service has operated on the South Liverpool line either , so maybe the guards that they are using will need some rudimentary route learning. |
