Cheshire Lines Liverpool - Warrington Central - Manchester. Also worth noting in the Northern consultation for the timetable change for May 2018 is that when this station opens, services calling at Sankey will be reduced to peak hours only.

It's only the second round for this scheme. I'm not sure if a bid was submitted for Warrington West the first time but a new station for the Warrington area has been talked about for a while.

Does this mean that Sankey will get a parliamentary service as such when Warrington West opens ?
