is 2710 (X956 DBT) still being used in the Runcorn pool as I remember it having a slipping 1st gear when it was at St Helens

2953/2499 both on the x30 today so i'm guessing gas buses are being painted

If they have then they have only gone today as ive not seen any in the body or paintshop.

2953 and 3137 are now regularly on the X30 due to overcrowding because they can hold more standing passengers.

The other vehicle on there was a gas bus today.
I wonder if 2953 and 3137 are allocated to specific workings which see more overcrowding than the other one.

Apparently Arriva are looking to exchange a couple of Cadets at some depots for other Buses to improve the fleet age here

Wouldn't really see much point as more Cadets are due to be displaced when the new gas buses arrive which will bring the fleet age at Runcorn right down.
