RE: D&G Bus
They've been mainly using Crewe based Streetlites on the 300 this week. One of the Wincham based ones was on the 88 yesterday afternoon. |

RE: D&G Bus
All of 101-6 now shown allocated to Wincham as well as the two Streetlites. |

RE: D&G Bus
One of the ex-Goodwins Solos took the place of one of the Crewe based Streetlites on the 300 this afternoon. Not sure if that means Crewe are running the route or if one of the buses being allocated to Wincham keeps changing. |

RE: D&G Bus
153 and 156 both parked up at Knutsford bus station 10 minutes ago. I guess one of them is going to run the 09:35 service to Altrincham. I notice 153 has acquired a yellow school bus sign. |

RE: D&G Bus
The 13 reg SRs seem to be appearing more reguarly on the 300 route now. The other day I noticed one of the 60 reg* Streetlites was on the 88 route, while an SR was on the 300. I wonder if that relates to evening out the mileage on the different buses so some buses don't need servicing more frequently then others? * While the fleet list shows the 2 x 11 reg Streetlites allocated to Wincham, it seems to have been 1 x 60 reg and 1 x 11 reg one for a while now. |

RE: D&G Bus
So based on the bus registration thread it looks like they decided the 378 trial hasn't been a success as it will be cancelled, effective from 15th July. |

RE: D&G Bus
YJ13 HNF was on the 300 last week without a working front destination display. Today it's on the 88 again without a working front destination display. |

RE: D&G Bus
So Stagecoach claimed they needed a subsidy of £90,000 per annum to maintain the Wilmslow extension of their 378. D&G have said they'd need a subsidy of £70,000 per annum to keep their Wilmslow to Handforth Dean 378 service operating. In comparison the 99 gets a subsidy of £22,000 per annum. |

Explains why they dropped it so quickly. £5-6k a month is a big hit. Despite the press, there can't have been too many using it with those figures. |
