Sundays is reducing to every 20 minutes next month

Probably true the cyclist threw his bike at the bus as no cctv has been released along with the statement. I'm amazed the driver didn't receive at least written warning as well.

Strange that Arriva defended the behaviour to some extent, I suppose like you say this would probably mean that it was aggravated by the cyclist. Not going to speculate beyond saying that it's dangerous ground for the driver if he's assaulted him in any case.

RE: Arriva North West - Speke Depot
All depends on the grounds as if the cyclist as thrown his cycle at the bus then who knows what type of temper he as , so the driver was only restraining him and not throwing punches so it could be cause for self defense within means.
If he was throwing punches then it could open a whole can of trouble and then thats where assault comes into it but looking at the footage its just the same as making a citizens arrest.

These days the amount of CCTV internally and externally on vehicles should prevent most anti-social problems.

Im not saying anything bad about cyclists but they can be the most anti-social road group on the road at times .
