Anyone got any further information on this like what class train is likley to operate it? I would imagine a Class 66 to start with. If as hoped the service starts to get heavier loadings it could justify pairs of 90s from Edge Hill as the line is electrified all the way. All time rail mileage travelled 327264 miles |

It would have to be diesel powered between edgehill and seaforth as its just normal lines with no electrification. |

You are quite right that Edge Hill to Seaforth is not electrified. I should have made myself clearer - Edge Hill to Mossend is electrified. All time rail mileage travelled 327264 miles |

Your question of where did I get the information from? Well it on TRUST which is a railway operational system which neither you or I have access to but my friend has a contact who has. Further information received indicates that there are services from both Mossend and Daventry, which is excellent news. All time rail mileage travelled 327264 miles |
