RE: Avon Buses
Atleast they're trying things out in liverpool, I wonder if it'll be worth while extending the 122 to Town via the 23 route on a every 20 minute frequency during the day, it could maybe pull some passengers away from the 63 as it'll have more variation? And also it'll help them have more presence in the City centre especially when the 135 gets extended to Liverpool

RE: Avon Buses
Are they replacing the 86/87 with something or will Merseytravel step in?

The 487 hasn't served Parkgate on Mon-Sat evening for a while now, services go to The Royal Oak instead, Parkgate isn't currently served by bus Mon-Sat evening but has an hourly bus to Liverpool on Sunday evening...

Could they be just trying to find some useful work for the driver & bus between other duties (e.g. schools services) ?

RE: Avon Buses
Maybe Avon Buses had spare buses and/or drivers following their last changes in January that will be needed again for the Sefton changes in April, it's possible that Avon Buses maybe picking up extra services.

But the 86/87 have been running since 2009 When the 186 got withdrawn so you would think they would withdraw a less busy services like the 82 From West Kirby To Caldy Or the 81 from Woodside To Greasby
