In some alarming news tonight from Germany tonight . The Covid R rate in that country has risen from 1.79 to 2.88 The R rate is the reproduction rate , it means that for every 1 person there is a possibility that 1.79 to 2.88 will be infected. |

It now looks likely in the next few weeks that Face coverings are going to become mandatory in shops as well as on public transport. I think while the public are wearing face masks the economy will be very slow and stilted , also in the longer term the Recession we are entering is going to be very slow and quite long. |

From what I can see from my shopping experience today from bigger shops I went to; the one-way system isn't aways possible (found that people where bunched up together in a clothing retailer), and that some stores (like a well known supermarket) are removing the one-way systems that makes the 2m distancing impossible to follow when got other people coming your way. Fortunately I was wearing a facial covering as I did take the bus (using the quieter times so socially distancing), otherwise I would have left without getting shopping. Play City Bus Manager? Think the economy is going to hammered for a good two years , nothing will ever be the same again. It shown one thing the health service needs a very large amount of money even to standstill and a much larger amount of money again if there is a second spike . The second spike may well be a mix of the coronavirus and the flu virus . |
