RE: Arriva Trains Wales
Led to believe if this strike action goes ahead then there will be no service at all. With NO replacement road transport.

So the only services along the coast or between Chester and Crewe will be operated by Virgin Trains.

With the Bidston - Wrexham service when the service is seriously out of kilter the service seems to run Shotton - Wrexham Central , is it little wonder that passenger from Neston , Heswall and Upton use other means to complete there journeys towards Liverpool.

The Llandudno - Manchester services that presently terminate at Manchester Piccadilly seem to be in the news again .

The service after terminating goes in to Mayfield Loop and sits for a considerable amount of time . Arriva could actually get more out of these units if the service was actually terminated at Manchester Oxford Rd and sent back quicker .

The real reason for the use of Mayfield Loop is that the service was always intending to be extended to Manchester Airport , which now does not seem to be allowed to happen by Network Rail saying the paths belong to a service from the Calder Valley , which can only be introduced when the Ordsall Cord is built and up and running.
