It has been announced that Liverpool City Council has purchased the Cunard Building from the Merseyside Pension Fund. The building will be used by the council who will be moving staff into the upper floors. However the ground floor and basement are to become the Liverpool Cruise Terminal. This has a precedent as it was used for that purpose from 1907-1968 by Cunard Line. All time rail mileage travelled 327264 miles |

On the Cruise Terminal tomorrow/Wednesday is the Paddle Steamer "Waverley" which is cruising to Llandudno/Menai Strait. All time rail mileage travelled 327264 miles |
