As a regular outpatient at MRI, I enquired about this through two sources (albeit a couple of years ago), and whilst neither could help me directly, they both gave the distinct impression it was mainly for visitors, and it was just a question of a non motorist possibly "blagging" their way on. Not worth the risk going to the Hospital, and the early finish didn't help when stuck there for many hours. Could it be two seperate services; peak hours for staff and off-peak for visitors/outpatients? Pretty sure. It used to go past my old house and the bus stop it stops at was my local bus route into town. Usually the people you find on it are wearing NHS lanyards such as receptionists and a few staff in nurses uniforms. Infact, it's very rare to have regular passengers on (Unlike the Trafford Shuttle). It's also the reason non-accessible coaches are used frequently. |
