Such services used to exist. The 34 between 1986 & 1995 was run by Gm Buses as an express running Liverpool - St Helens - Newton-Le-willows - Leigh - Manchester. One route I'd like to see re-introduced is the old Ribble 309/319 which ran Warrington - Burtonwood - St Helens - Rainford - Ormskirk - Southport. |
