She is still driving without due care and attention - there is a clear sign saying the height limit for the bridge, and she has still carried on. Not only that she obviously wasnt going slow at the time as she has taken the roof completely off, not a little bit then realised, she just kept going! Off route or on route, I was taught when driving to always check the height signs against your vehicle - if she was new to the job then it is even more her fault as she has failed to do one of the basic checks and put 30 peoples lives in danger, if she was new you would have thought she would be taking even more care as she drove! Its not down to the passengers to shout! She might have knew she took a wrong turn, told them and was trying to double back on herself, so the passengers werent paying attention, not that they would anyway, theres so many changes to routes these days most wouldnt think twice - thats if they already werent distracted by their phones/newspapers/books ior whatever else they were passing time with.
