Scania double deckers from the 15684-6 batch at Lillyhall were working on the X5 service from Workington to Penrith yesterday (Bank Holiday Monday). Perhaps this is a test for the conversion of this route to similar Stagecoach Gold deckers later in the year. In addition 16119 was noted on the A66 displaying 'sorry not in service'.  Today is a good day
