Today is the start of the new timetable for Trans-Pennine . Under normal circumstances today would have seen Liverpool - Newcastle services start via Chat Moss , but due to ongoing engineering work in the Huyton area these services are today starting from Manchester Victoria. The service will depart from Liverpool Lime Street at 12 minutes past the hour with the exception of the last service of the day at 1912 to Newcastle via Manchester Victoria , the 2022 operates via the Cheshire Lines to Manchester Piccadilly then onwards to Newcastle. |
