For me it looks very nice on first glance. Perhaps not as attractive as its predecessor but nowhere near as much of a step down as expected based on the photos of the demonstrator earlier in this thread.

I must say though, my view on styling is the opposite: for me it is the Wright models that look dated. I've always thought the Enviro400 was a very modern looking bus and was surprised they have been looking to change it. Internally, the Enviro400s' upper deck is a lot more spacious than the Geminis and hopefully they don't compromise that with this redesign.

Having said that, the Wright Gemini 2s with DB300 chassis at Speke do rattle a lot less than their Enviro400 counterparts at Bootle and offer a smoother ride overall. The same applies with Pulsars versus Enviro300s. I'd say that in general the Enviro family looks better than Wright products, but rides worse. Perhaps that will change with these new models.
