What arriva could do at least is introduce Route Savers which would make more fair for customers who live outside merseyside but travel on a route beyond boundaries like the 375/385 or the 395. Not saying all routes like this but for key corridors.

Now, if you are only going to stay in one area and don't have a specific ticket to cover that area then that is a different matter altogether.
