Spectras are non standard. Fact.
They are older than the MagicBus fleet. Fact.
They're not DDA compliant. Fact.


And as for 33174, the fleetcards are all the evidence you need as to official allocations. That's not to say it won't appear in use from reserve occasionally though.

33174 appears in service quite a lot. Through the week it tends to be restricted to Taxi duties but it has been known for it to cover breakdowns. I've seen it recently on 218's and 342/344 and it's on the 202 every Sunday up in Glossop.

As for the Spectra's, given the number of recent arrivals at both Hyde Rd and Sharston I'm surprised to see them still in service. Stagecoach must like them because they are non standard to the Manchester fleet and in the past we have seen Stagecoach sell or cascade some half decent buses simply because they were non standard.
But to give them their credit there still around 5? Years after the Bullocks takeover so they have certainly got there monies worth out of them
