What I have been told is that 20 deckers are for rhyl. 16 will be for the number 12's and 4 for the 11 rhyl - chester.

3 gemeni 2's will be going to the bangor depot and 5 pulsars will go to chester.

by the way the above are not for definite but are proposed by arriva buses wales. The idea is that they replace some of the dennis darts by September 2014


By the way there are some proposed new routes for rhyl as told by a driver and changes:

January 2014:

11F One extra eveing journey
12 Extra morning journeys
51 Timetable changes
183/184 Withdrawn and replaced by new bus 85

Summer 2014 :

1 New open top buses for this route ( Ex arriva cymru/north west )
12 reduced to every 15 mins
X12 new express route from rhyl - Llandudno every 30 mins
X14 New route from rhyl - mold via Denbigh partly replacing gha route 14
X33 New express route from rhyl - holywell via dyserth and carmel


I have also been told that rhyl garage is getting its front office/reception bit knocked down to allow extra room for 3 buses and the car garage at the right side of the depot is being taken over by arriva. Half of the matenence section is to move to Hawarden chester depot


Rhyl is to see huge changes during 2014
