Metroshuttle 1, 2, 3 in Manchester plus 300 in Stockport, 400 in Oldham and 500 in Bolton are all free services in Greater Manchester. Over in neighbouring Yorkshire, there are FreeTownBus services in Dewsbury and Huddersfield, while there are FreeCityBus services in Bradford and Wakefield. Leeds did have one until a couple of years ago but was replaced by LeedsCityBus, where passengers can either pay 50p single fare or travel for free with operator or Metro day/weekly/monthly/annual tickets. Sheffield have the FreeBee service in the city centre. |
