Its not too bad, but I see what you mean

The first 1 service from liverpool was 7.10 and is now 7.23
The first 401 (2) service from liverpool was 7.22 and is now 7.08

So its all good if your not going the zoo and parts of the 1 route such as bache, but you will get to chester and places inbetween faster!
