Caldwell Road was home to 4 Arriva Cadets this afternoon due to the bridge being closed, they were sent down after clogging up Green Oaks for a while. Wasn't for long and they soon made their way back to Runcorn depot, annoyingly I just missed out on a picture of them at the yard!
Must say I'm surprised by the Solos; they seem to be out in service pretty much everyday, I was expecting Halton to have a little trouble with them seeing as they are non-standard and a completely new type for them, but its good to see they are performing well. Ive rode on 57 twice and it's actually a nice bus, a little on the slow side perhaps but ideal for what they are used on. And happily the 26/A seems to be getting good loadings judging by what Ive seen which is good news. Good work Halton!
