TUPE would not apply if just tendered routes are lost. You would just be allocated different routes by your employer, or if they end up not having enough work for you after losing tenders, you would probably be made redundant and let go.

You don't "apply" for TUPE either. It happens automatically.

Need to be aware that from one day after TUPE your new employer can start to make changes to your terms of employment.

also, the government is proposing to make some significant changes to the TUPE regulations that will further weaken employees employment rights upon transfer. For details check BIS website
