North Western Road Car Company Limited, September 1960. Express & limited stop services were not shown in this timetable. This is the "original" North Western, not the later company split out of the Ribble empire. The Manchester area was later taken over by Selnec, whilst the other services were transferred to other NBC companies (Crosville, Trent).

Depots were at Altrincham, Biddulph, Buxton, Glossop, Macclesfield, Matlock, Northwich, Oldham, Stockport, Urmston & Wilmslow. Note that some rural routes were infrequent, and others operated only on one or two days a week.
